We grow ever closer to the much anticipated Affiliate Summit Convention. I am looking forward to meeking many of the folks such as the Market Leverage team, the PepperJam people, and maybe even some folks from google!
I have prepared the proper attire for this convention as well as minimal luggage for the trip. I am still debating driving or flying. I am also not sure if I will be staying in the hotel where the convention is being held or somewhere nearby. Honestly if things work out the way I want then I will be flying and just taking a cab to the hotel and staying there for the duration not counting dinners, etc.
I have mailed a convention rep asking if the rules of no photography or video pertained to just the luncheon, cocktail parties, and speakers panel or if it also applied to the exhibit floor as well. As it turns out this whole event is covered by this clause. It seems I will be reporting this for the most part the old fashioned way. I hope I will manage to get some pics with my favorite ad rep networks, and even a few “A” listers that might happen to be attending.
Next week I will post the discussion panels as their are many different speakers speaking on topics which can be very prolific to any marketer. If you see something you would like me to attend and report on the blog to you about let me know and I will do my best to make it. At this point I am still planning what I will be doing with my time while at the convention.
So outside waiting for my stimulus check to arrive so I can have my nifty new vostro sent to me I am prepared now for this convention. Any suggestions you have or questions for people I may run into please let me know so I can take advantage of this in person opportunity to see and meet with these very interesting peoples.
Anyone have any good ideas for food or entertainment while in Boston please let me know as well I figure since I am going all the way to Boston I might as well see some of it as well. If you live in the Boston area or will be in the Boston area during the time of the convention and would like to meet up for lunch or something or hit the exhibit hall please use my contact page to get in touch with me so we can make arrangements.

Sorry if there was some confusion on our end. You’re welcome to film anywhere except the sessions and networking events.
You are welcome to film video, shoot pics, record podcasts or whatever in the exhibit hall.

@JK We definately need to sit down and chat once Im settled I really am enjoying your blog and would love to do something as a project. We should take a look at the next calander year and see which conventions either of us are attending and see if we can meet up.
Tenative date for me being back online and settled in new house will be around the 20th depending on when the ISP can schedule in to do the initial setup.
