BlogWorld & New Media Expo 2008

Well, just finished up a great 4 day weekend in Las Vegas, attending Blog World & New Media Expo 2008. What a weekend! A bit overwhelming, how much information and people I came across. Chatting with Darren Rowse, John Chow, and David Bullock were certainly highlights of the event, but I was also impressed with the number of new and existing companies coming out of beta. You know I’m all about “the new” so now I’m armed with weeks of blog-worthy material.
I’m heading back to California later today (kicking and screaming, mind you. You would too if you saw the spa I’m leaving behind at the Westin.) I’ll be going through my bags of blogging paraphernalia (Bloggers Vitamin C and chocolate goose eggs- enough said) and sharing the details on the who and what of Blog World 2008 for the next few weeks so stay tuned!
PS. NormalJoe, I wasn’t joking man, I got you an F’ Google T-Shirt- xl works?

@bigknoxy Glad you liked that- I really was a bit nervous but hopefully I’ll be more relaxed for the Blog Orlando event this weekend. Passive income- it’s a great term isn’t it? Very cool audio of you and Joe, and for a newbie to blogging it was great to get an insight of how you successful bloggers think.
It still amazes me that people are making a great living out of blogging, and I look forward to hearing a lot more audio from you in the future.
Btw, have you considered developing a regular podcast to share your blogging experience. You sound like a natural, and I am sure that with all of your online acquaintances, you will never be short of subject matter.
