Affiliate Summit East In Boston Update

A little over two months from now I will be blogging from the hotel in Boston at Affiliate Summit East. I have yet to talk with anyone in my own circles which has gone before or is going to this one. While I still hope to possibly meet a reader or two I would even settle for a blogger from somewhere inside my bookmarks I guess time will tell, and hopefully I will recognize them. It is confirmedÂ that pictures will be allowed outside of the conference and luncheon/drink times. I mainly plan to target the exhibitÂ hall so we can all get a chance to meet the worlds top affiliate network folks as well as hopefully some of the best bloggers in the blogosphere. I am not sure who isÂ attending as of yet, but once I am setup at the house I plan toÂ setup a fewÂ meetingsÂ :P

For now I am prepared and still working on which panels to go to. If you see one you think you would like to hear me write about by all means please let me know in the comments as picking between all these while some of them run at the same time is turning out to be very hard.

Affiliate Summit East Boston Update

We grow ever closer to the much anticipated Affiliate Summit Convention. I am looking forward to meeking many of the folks such as the Market Leverage team, the PepperJam people, and maybe even some folks from google!

I have prepared the proper attire for this convention as well as minimal luggage for the trip. I am still debating driving or flying. I am also not sure if I will be staying in the hotel where the convention is being held or somewhere nearby. Honestly if things work out the way I want then I will be flying and just taking a cab to the hotel and staying there for the duration not counting dinners, etc.

Updates, Content and Affiliate Summit

Hello everyone just to let everyone know I finally started at my new job last couple of days have been a little hectic adjusting the sleep schedule and running some errands. I took yesterday off and part of today from the blog. I also have plans to be moving closer to my new work which may cause a couple days of downtime. I am trying to load some content for everyone into the scheduler right now just in case I am unable to make the posts my self. This should only last a couple of days.

Also today will be my first post about preparations for affiliate summit east. I am currently creating a check list of items I will need to take with me. I also need to check on a ticket to fly up. I will not be allowed to record video or sound while at this convention. I am not sure if this is limited to just the speaking events, or if we will be allowed to cover any of the exhibition hall in this matter. If not then I should be making frequent posts. It is my hope to catch some of our niches top authorities and see if I can ask them a couple of questions. This is setting up to be a very fun weekend.

Affiliate Summit 2008 East

I am happy to announce that this blog will be covering the Affiliate Summit 2008 East conference this August 10-12, 2008 in Boston. Today I received my email confirming my press pass credentials. I would like to thank Amy Rodriguez, Affiliate Summit Conference Director for the press pass to this amazing event. A single full convention pass (early bird price) will cost an attendee $949. This will be my first major convention. As such I plan to document it as much as possible. I will be creating a section just for this so that I can share the first time convention experience with everyone.

I am a firm believer that attending conventions regularly will provide to you access to information and networking you would otherwise totally miss out on. This itself is very important to any Blogger, Internet Marketer or Affiliate Salesperson.
