All of us can use a little extra hosting space for something these days. I hope everyone enjoys this gold nugget of a find. Thanks to Grahm for emailing it to me!

FileSavr.com was created as a fresh alternative to sites like MegaUpload and RapidShare. Unlike those sites, we do not reel the user in and make them wait for annoying countdown timers. We do not hide the download link with aggressively placed ads. Their goal is simple, to offer the most basic file hosting and image hosting service so you can share your stuff quickly.

In our first post we covered exactly what a double opt in email marketing list is. We also took the time to define what is was not, and how easy it is to tell the difference between the two. In our second post I outlined how you can easily gather leads for your upcoming campaign. This is all wonderful and helps you to the end game goal of actually pitching your first sale to your list of leads which you have gathered to this point. Today’s post will focus on how to warm your leads up to what you want to show them; as well as, where you will be getting these products to sell in the first place.

Just like with any situation in life where you want to show someone something they may not know they need, or particularly want you will have to put the golden salesperson hat on. Remember to be honest, be kind and try not to dig any holes that an innocent person might otherwise fall into. I am sure by this point your asking what are you talking about? Easy enough but lets start out with something else first.

I made sure to elaborate the differences between a double opt-in list which has become standard now, and what most honestly think of when anyone says an email marketing shindig. This being said today we are going to approach some new material. So strap in, grab a cold drink, and get ready to take some notes.

I also want to take a minute and thank everyone for vising this blog and helping make my goals come to fruition. This post marks 100 posts on this blog. Over the course of the next 100 posts I plan to add easily navigable page for blogging aka the “Bloggers toolbox”, an “Internet Marketers Guide” and a few other tidbits I will stay close lipped about for now. This is a way for me to fulfill my ultimate goal of providing an almost one stop blog that is honest and accurate AND helpful for everyone from newbie to veteran. Keep coming back and I promise I will keep posting great content. Without YOU the reader this blog would die. Again Thanks for reading! Back to Email Marketing For Newbies Part 2.

As of late for me it seems that these marketers or as I would prefer to call them spammers think that I may need to purchas presciptions online. No thank you and while we are at it please stop asking me to buy your viagra. The type of E-Mail marketing I want to talk with you about and give you a general enough walkthrough so that you will feel comfortable giving this a try via the many available outlets to a blogger.

First of all I do not approve or condone of any type of marketing that is not sought after in some form by the person looking for a product in the first place. Spam is a very serious thing. The type I will be talking about is an opt-in mailing list. For instance soon you will see a graphic located above my rss subscription button on the right side of the site that essentially will say “click here to recieve my free ebook” before you get it though I will ask for your first name and your email address. Before I allow you to download my ebook you will have to confirm that you opted into this mailing list otherwise you will not be added and most certainly will not recieve the ebook.

While I would never wish any harm on any bloggers site, backups or content this does happen everyday. I have known a few bloggers to be completely wiped out from existence over this and as you can imagine they just did not have the heart to continue afterward. I wanted to take a post out on this matter and raise awareness that being prepared is in your best interest.

While some will go over the top with 3 off site back ups a day I feel that may be a little excessive untill your success levels are so high that you may lose your shirt if you were to otherwise experience any downtime at all. But since for the most part I feel like I am addressing blogs like my own we will deal with this in a more real world situation for now.

First install the db back up plug in for wp. Run it daily, have it auto sent to a sleeping gmail account. Also save it server side and if your nutty mail it to another account which is local to where you write your blog.

These days making money through opt in mail lists has really taken off. Collecting leads via Joint Ventures and other means is important. One thing that has changed in recent years is your options with how to deliver your mail reliably and via a white listed means. These are usually to expensive for list operators alone, so the likes of aweber, or other similar companies flip the bill for the white listing and have active relationships with all of the major isps and backbones. This helps your mail maintain a 99% deliver ability and a speedy deliver ability. The prices to those just starting out may be a little shocking but as a person with a small 2500 person list I can tell you that paying those monthly fees will be easy. The magic formula stated by many past essentially tells you your list is at least wroth $1 per person. So to recover the fee’s associated with using a quality auto responder will easily be recouped.

Namebrand in this niche is important. Find an angle and work it. For me the Big Ben Patton persona works across niches, so I have it made. Try to come up with something original and relevant. Next you will probably need to seek out a means to collect your leads. I highly suggest going with aweber as they are recognized as the industries best and most trusted. This company goes out of its way to stay white listed, and on the good side of every major service provider worldwide. You will not be able to match what these guys can do considering how long they have been doing it.
