Flipping Awesome! A Very Very Good FREE Guide.

Some of my readers of have been asking me about site flipping recently.I think I have just what any begginner needs to get going…. This is no sales or affiliate commision gaining post or anything. It’s just my honest opinion on a awesome new guide from a blogging friend of mine that I honestly feel will help you readers.

The basics of site flipping are easy. Buy or make a site, spruce it up a little and then sell for a profit at auction. However when people actually embark on their first web site, built for sale they often get confused and come unstuck with the finite details.

This is where Michelle’s guide comes in and saves the day….

Michelle Adams is an Australian blogger that I have known for a while now. She has a great sense of humor and awesome professional approach. Like many dream of, she makes her living online. I have known Michelle long enough to see her climb up the ladder a few rungs and not that long ago, relatively speaking, she was strugling along and working out her business direction. Site flipping has been a major part of getting her to where she is today.

The ebook is completely 100% free and does not leave you short of details or trying to sell you loads of stuff. The purpose of the free report is for Michelle to gain mailing list subscribers. She also spends a little time promoting her mentoring program on the last page. If you are looking for a mentor in this kind of thing then Michelle may well be an excellent choice for you.

Ok, enough of that, more about the free report….

The book takes you through the steps required to build and sell your first site flip. It looks at each aspect in pretty good detail and gives you tips to help gain a good sale amount when it comes to the auction.

Here are the 10 steps dicussed in the report:

Step   1  –  Market Selection
Step   2  –  Domain Name
Step   3  –  Hosting & Cpanel Set Up
Step   4  –  Nameservers
Step   5  –  WordPress Plugins
Step   6  –  Adding Content Keywords
Step   7  –  Theme Selection Theme Installation
Step   8  –  Monetization
Step   9 –   List For Sale
Step 10 –   Site Transfer

As you can see it’s all there. Michelle has called the book Quick Cash Converter as that’s exactly what these kind of site flips do you for.

I agree – absolutely excellent report. Since I read it I’ve sold four sites :D Never would have done it otherwise – but this makes it a lot less scary to get started,

    • forest_parks (Reply) on Wednesday 26, 2009

That’s excellent. I have not flipped for a while but intend to get back to it in the next few weeks.

Repost does look quite strategical and hope and hope it will be helpful.

Oh great more useless comments!! I guess it’s time to go through and delete some, unless you pop up with a reasonable response that is?

  3. The Net Fool (Reply) on Wednesday 26, 2009

Eh, I would call this a run-of-the-mill offering… not sure it is “flipping awesome!” haha. This will definitely help people that haven’t sold blogs before, but other than that you can get a much more reasonable understanding of site flipping when you speak with people who have actually done it before in my opinion. Thanks for the link at any rate.

    • forest_parks (Reply) on Wednesday 26, 2009

Hey Jim, not been over to your blog for a while. How are things?

As for the product being run-of-the-mill…. I completely disagree,

As you acknowledge and I wrote in my post “he book takes you through the steps required to build and sell your first site flip”. It does this in very good simple terms describing each step in enough detail, yet not overwhelming you with stuff you don’t need to know for your first few.

The first few flips is not about making a huge profit. It’s about getting to grips with the processes and techniques and I think this book, for a newbie, gives you a great resource and headstart on such matters.

Michelle uses hardly any upsell throughout her book…. Rare for a free ebook and knowing her personally she is one of the most ethical marketers around. She genuinely wants to help people who read this book.

So, not run of the mill for the intended audience…. :)

Anyway thanks for coming by and please do so again soon.

Cheers will give it a look; you never know may have a hidden nugget in there :p

    • forest_parks (Reply) on Wednesday 26, 2009

Hey Donace. I have flipped quit a lot but still found lots of use in the explanation of using flippa…. which is something that I have not done as yet! Also it’s good to have a step by step guide for these things.

Excellent. I have a site I’ve been thinking of selling, but I didn’t want to have to pay to learn how to sell just one site. If it goes over well, I might want to get into flipping. For now, I just want to dump a project I’ve lost interest in.

    • forest_parks (Reply) on Wednesday 26, 2009

Hey Lori, this guide would be excellent for you. I would also advise you read Michelle’s blog.

  6. Michelle Adams (Reply) on Wednesday 26, 2009

Forest thanks for the write up and kind words!

The guide is for beginners to help them navigate their way through their first flip.

@The Net Fool Your comment suggests I’ve never flipped a site, not sure how you arrived at your wrong conclusion.

Forest you have some great posts here to help people through some of the really tricky parts of site moves and you’ve indeed helped me with that too!

    Thanks again.

    • forest_parks (Reply) on Wednesday 26, 2009

Thank you very much Michelle. It took me a while to getting round to reading through it but I recommended it as I thought it would be a great help for some of my readers who have been asking about flips.

I would just like to add here that Michelle helped me a lot with the process. She’s not only given a free eBook, but she was there to help me through. And believe me, I’m not new to creating wesites by any means – but flipping was another story for me. She has proven experience and success to back up what she teaches, and I do believe Flippa is a little tricky for people to get started with so this really helped. Just wanted to add this based on some of the comments above.

Thanks. It’s good to have some other endorsements here :) . I sometimes feel that people think you have an agenda by recommending things but that is because there are so many unethical marketers around… I recommended this purely because I thought it was great :)

Personally I could not justify selling a website after I spend a lot of time setting it up and optimizing it. I’d rather keep that website for myself and gradually get some passive income over the years.

    • forest_parks (Reply) on Wednesday 26, 2009

      Hey thanks for coming by.

I see your point but it totally depends on what you need for your business model. If I need quick cash then I can just do a site flip. If I have enough cash for the month then I can spend time on long term sites.

Also you sometimes find yourself with too many projects to juggle and selling off one or two to free up time for the best ones can be beneficial.
