Its relative to the type of blog and the blogger, in the webmaster arena or even blogging advise parts of the blogosphere probably not needed. But for a self help or email marketing blog these can be essential for extra lead generation etc. Outside those uses I suppose its just another small tool in the box to make use of. I’m an aff.marketer and I see the value of landing pages.. However I didn’t really get why you should even care to put up a landing page just to convince them to subscribe to the feeds…
