I missed posting for 2 days

Wow Ive had a couple of lapses that lasted a day and in the past I have double up posts to cover the 1 post a day issue which is was my original goal for this blog. I was recently promoted into management at my hotel and this weekend was the first real test of mettle for the staff in general in recent time. The good news is we handled it well and made a lot of money. The bad news is everyone put in a lot of extra hours to get to the goal. Being on call after having worked so much means when I had the chance to sleep I was. I apologize for not having some content loaded especially after having made it almost a whole month without any kind of internet access and still posting daily.
I still consider myself to be learning the ropes of blogging and hotel management and to be honest their is a lot of parallels. I suppose it is the human element as well as the business aspect where they start to be alike. While I keep my blog separate from work and my work seperate from the blog I thought I would let you know that is is official and my life as a hotelier is taking off. This puts this week off a bit for content and while I will make up the post count I do not feel I will make up the creative juice that was lost for this, and for that I apologize. I consider this the first hiccup in content since I have started, and honestly have already taken steps to keep it from happening again.
I don’t want to make this post any longer than it need be, but I also wanted to offer up something I read on Moneybites.com which will get you a free back link from twitter, which well everyone should want Explained below and taken from Moneybites.com
I’m no SEO, but I did read an interesting short article a couple days back about how to get a free backlink from Twitter (unfortunately, I can’t remember where I read it). I want to share this with you guys as well.
The concept is simple, Twitter puts no-follow on your website links in your profile. But as demonstrated below (the red box means no follow), if you put your website link into your bio instead, it is do follow (this means that it passes on link juice (or value) to your website). Voila, a free backlink.

By just switching the location of your website link from “web†to “bio†(you can do so by going to the settings tab) you get a easy backlink for a few seconds of work. This is so simple and easy, I hope you guys found it useful.
So something to go and do while I cook up the next post. I am curious if anyone else that reads this blog has ever just had so much rea life job related or otherwise stuff going on and how they successfully managed to be productive online as well as with tasks that were at hand at work. While I do practice pretty decent time management and I do set goals regularly sometimes things do not roll just the way you planned.

That’s just how it goes man! These things happen, when you have a regular job outside of blogging/marketing, it’s easy for things to come up.
I need to learn to have some posts…”in the chamber” so to speak. I have ideas, but not posts actually written…that would help out in situations like these.
