Musically Motivated….. er…. Friday!

Hey Guys and Girls,

I ended up without net connection for longer than I thought so have not been able to get any posts out.

Last Saturday my journey in Williston, Vermont (USA) started and it ended on Monday where I arrived in New Brighton, near to Liverpool in England…. I’m just over the jet lag now, I hope!

So not much to talk about and not sure what I will have time to get out so if anyone fancies a guest post feel free to mail me (forest.parks@gmail.com). I have an awesome guest post named “4 Different Ways To Destroy Your Blog” written by Simon from Teenius.com.

If you are wondering why this post has a random bird sculpture image then I better tell you what it is. That is a Liver bird, the fictional bird that symbolises Liverpool. Two of these large statues sit on top of the famous water side Liver Building.

Today’s song is an English classic and I thought it would be appropriate since I am off to Egypt in early August….. Enjoy and let me know how you are:

I know what you mean about not having net connection for a while. I was just in Australia for a couple weeks and only got online twice. How long will you be in Egypt? I’d like to go there someday.

Yeah it’s been hard not having constant connection and I have ended up neglecting this blog…..

I’ll be in Egypt for 2 years and it should be awesome :)

  3. Does this mean we will not get any post from you until your trips is over?

Its really hard if constant connection is not there and its freat that you will be in great place for 2 yrs.

Hopefully I will have a good connection by the time I reach Egypt!

Wow 2 years is a long time. That’s definitely enough time to really get to know a place. It is too easy to miss things when you try to see too much in too little time. Hopefully you manage to get consistent internet access setup.

I completely agree… I will probably be a tourist for a year and then I will start feeling like a resident. I am sure I will get a good connection.

      Thanks for stopping by.

When I’m in a new City I always have my mini laptop with me. First i try wifi at my hotel or nearest Starbuck location. Also i print a map with hotspots from internet.

Good plan… Sadly on this trip it’s been time that has also been a big enemy. Although I was cut off from the net completely for a while.
