Musically Motivated Monday – Beautiful World

It’s been another really busy week and I have been up late into the night working away on my computer on a few joint venture projects. Working as a team really motivates you and helps you to achieve goals even when you don’t feel in the mood.
As a result of being so busy I gave fallen behind on answering comments. Very sorry guys and I will be replying to each one of you as soon as I can!
I was also awarded a Kreative blogger award by a favorite blogger of mine, Michelle Adams. I’ll be writing more about that and passing the award on hopefully tomorrow. Thanks Michelle

I’ll be makings sure I bring in some more posts this week too. I want to talk about inspiration this week if I can.

Wow, this is a totally different style for both bands… you can still smell the attitude in the lyrics but that’s about it.

Wow throwing done some Rage….I’m impressed. I have been a fan of this band for a while. Unfortunately I can’t check out this song since I don’t have speakers on this computer. I’ll have to remember to check it out later.
I agree with your comment about it being easier to stay motivated with joint ventures. When someone else is relying on you, you do feel obligated to put in the time. With a solo project, you are the only one affected by a lack of motivation.
This is actually a really calm song for rage. I love them too. I saw one of their last performances before the initial break up but someone told me they are back together!!
Not sure i am keen on the tune so thats the last time I check it out – **** you i wont do what you tell me!!!
Only jonking mate – I prefer the old ones as you can probably tell.
Got into some right old mangles on the danclefloor to that band in my youth! Killing in the name of is the only song I can recall seeing people knocked out cold on the dancefloor on a regular occasion! Wasnt a place for the feint hearted.

I thought for a minute the song title was A Beautiful Day by U2 so I got very excited as it’s one of my favs…. silly me didn’t read it properly! So what can I say…but I didn’t care for the song as my expectation of U2 was a hard act to follow, lol…but I do recall liking Devo in my ‘younger’ years.
Inspiration posts sound good, I can always do with some of that.

i don’t get y there is so much criticism of zack’s singing voice. i thought it ws perfect for this song. he doesn’t need to quote “try” to sing since he already has a unique sounding voice — it’s boyish and raspy. i mean what do people want him to sound like? josh groban?
I agree… I think a perfect voice would have ruined the ambience of this song. I like imperfect.
