If you have been following my blog at all then “I’m HERE” will probably make sense. If not then…. Let me tell you, I have been in process of a big move from Montreal, Canada to Cairo, Egypt and I finally made it.
Cairo is absolutely crazy but awesome at the same time. Playing real life frogger is a daily event and the culture shock is pretty big for a Westerner like me.
I’m in the process of finding a flat right now and then I can get back to business on this blog of mine…. If you need any tips or tutorials just let me know.
Thanks for sticking around and let me know how you are. I’ll leave you with the awesome Pearljam and a classic fave of mine in acoustic and original electric versions.
Oh just on a quick sidenote… I have just started work on a Cairo related blog called Welcome To Cairo, would love your opinions.

Thanks for the music. My personal favorite from Pearl Jam is Last Kiss but I like this song as well. It reminds me of the good old days when musicians put out songs with intelligent lyrics, a virtue not shared by many of today’s artists.
By the way, best of luck to you as you adapt to the culture down there. And yeah, the new site’s looking good already with that welcome to cairo header.

I wonder how you managed so big move. In Cairo it’s more than 40 degrees Celsius (more than 100oF) and Montreal is rather cold. I almost went to Egypt this vacation but everyone told me that August and July are unbearable because of temperature. Were they right?

Actually Montreal is really hot in the summer and really bloody cold in the winter…. Saying that Cairo is about the hottest I have encountered before.
