Musically Motivated Monday – Middle Of Nowhere!

I hope you all had and are having a great Memorial Day weekend if you are in the United States.

I am in the middle of nowhere (Lincoln, Vermont) at a friends house and forgot my laptop cord so have been unable to work this weekend. Just getting a few minutes of net connection to write this!

Sadly that means my $5 a day case study is a little delayed but we will be getting back on with that this week and hopefully making some money soon.

Anyway… I will be back as usual from tomorrow. Let me know how you are?

Today’s music…. Well I went to see these guys on Sat night in Stowe, Vermont. They were great…. So here are the Seth Yacovone Band.

Cool song, really chilled out and enjoyable :) Hope you’re having a good time on your break.

BTW, when there’s no comments yet, it says ‘It’s quite in here’… it needs to be ‘It’s quiet in here’ ;)

Thanks Teenius… I actually noticed that, I also noticed spelling mistakes in the coding of this theme, I am guessing that it was a little rushed by the coders or English wasn’t their no1.

I’ve been offered to go to Washington this week so my plans to get more theme mods done have been halted yet again!!!

BTW your blog content has been awesome recently.

Agree with Simon, great easy-listening song. I take it that they are not yet signed by a major label yet. But they should be.

By the way, have you featured any songs by Richard Cheese in here?

    • forest_parks (Reply) on Sunday 24, 2009

No they are not signed but seem to have a pretty good following within Vermont. Especially with all the dead heads and hippy crowds. The Grateful Dead and Phish are probably the most popular bands in Vermont.

I’ve never heard of Richard Cheese… Any songs that I need to listen to, please link me here.

The video’s the original by System of a Down but the “new” arrangement is done by Richard Cheese.

I have never heard of this band before, but the band did a great job, that song was really enjoyable to listen to =D

I thought You would post “Road to nowhere” by Talking Heands ;) but this video is also great, different (while it’s a live show), but nice.
