Sell Your SIte For More – Great Video Tips

Hey Everyone,
I sent info about this to the mailing list already but thought it would be a good idea to write up a post too.
If you are selling websites already or looking to sell one of your websites then inevitably you want to get as much money for it as possible. I know I have been ramping up my sales recently and really want to maximize my profit so that I can ultimately concentrate on bigger more detailed sales.
CJ Parker, an Aussie bloke wrote a great ebook about ways to increase the sale prices of your sites and I read that just last week. It was a great read so when this his new site popped up I was curious to take a look. And now he has released the first of a set of great videos showing some of his tips for how you can sell your site for more.
The first video shows 3 great tips, one I had never thought of and will DEFINITELY be trying (Look out for Tip #2). Also a 2nd video is being realeased today so I am really looking forward to that.

I would tell you the techniques but that’s not fair as he seems like a really nice bloke and is collecting optins for a future product launch…. but these videos are 100% free and it’s beneficial for you to watch the video for me too….

The internet is a great place to sell products. The only thing is that it is also very tricky. If you do not understand the fundamentals of internet marketing you may put up a website and it will never be seen by anyone.

I’m sure a lot of those tips could also be used for people who simply want to increase the earnings of their website. Not everyone wants to sell. Most people would rather hang onto their website to make more money in the long run.
NO actually these tips are very specific to selling websites…. I suggest you read properly before commenting here.
My bad. I didn’t have time to watch the video. Flipping websites is against my personal strategies. So its not something that really interests me.
selling sites/blog is just like selling your kids
I definitely agree. When you put a lot of time and effort into something, it is so much more rewarding to see that grow into something successful. When you sell a website prematurely, you never get to realize its full potential. You may be sitting on something great that others get to reap the benefits of.

I do both, some projects I grow and some I sell… It’s all to do with mixing up my income models… also it’s good to have a mix of quick and long term income.
Mixing up income sources sounds like a good plan. Still, I would only sell a website if I had a similar website to keep for myself.
Sometimes that’s a great idea to do…. Especially if the niche is a hobby of yours.

Hey Joe, yes they are good videos. I have not tried any of the tips yet and luckily for me my sites have been selling quite well recently… Thank you for your contribution to that.
Hey buddy, i used to flip my websites at digitalpoint. Websites flipping doesnt make much money.Why because you have to wait until website gain link popularity,page rank,authority and good indexed pages. Then only someone buys website from you.
If you have made a site then you have to wait for min 3 months. Then only you can sell it for some 1k$ (min).

Try Flippa…. there are much better buyers there. I have never used DP but have been told to avoid it like the plague!

I have been thinking about ways of making some more money and have never even thought about selling websites for profit. It seems like it could be a really nice way of making money. I’m just concerned about the fees eating into my profit.
