Early in the A.M. hours we finally finished up the last round of official planned updates. Overall I am actually ecstatic about how much better the site looks compared to before we started. This last round was mostly dreamed up by myself and implemented and executed by another person. With Big Ben Patton’s Place surpassing 100 RSS subs I felt it was finally time to bring in a professional designer to make this site look great. Now I had told you in a previous post that I would not reveal this persons name until they were complete, but not that we are done with everything except for a few possible tweaks I figure I can tell you about my friend Forest.

You may have noticed I have added his advertisements to both the side bar area and to the ad space above the content here. He is a top notch professional designer that works on a real world schedule. Originally I had set out just to have some new ad’s made, but after seeing the quality of work on those I had a talk about what I had envisioned for the site. Forest and I worked out the details and the amount of payment needed to take care of such a job. I am quite satisfied with the ROI of the whole project. Their is something to be said for a designer that will work with you step by step and be available during the whole process on I.M. I can not recommend forest enough!

This was a very cool process and  as you have been watching the transformation took roughly a weeks worth of time on a relaxed schedule. After all I was not due to have this all ready until September 1st. Here is some examples of the new ad’s in case you havent seen them around yet:

Here we have my flat 125×125 that I will be using mostly for Entre Card.

Next up the animated 125×125 which is now deployed on the sites I have been advertising on.

And my first 468×60 advertisement which is animated as well.

Forest has a great deal of graphic design experience and pursue’s this work fulltime. He also happens to be a blogger and an Internet Marketer. I wanted to go ahead and give a quick rundown of his two most popular blogs, so that everyone can have a chance to see what Forest is all about.

The first blog up on the block by Forest is infact is now currently operating Hub. The Random Forest. This is a good place to find out what is going on in Forest’s world at the moment and also operates as a hub for the designer extroidinare. I recommend you stop by and check out what’s going on and subscribe to his RSS.

Forest’s other site was created on the basis of a site flipping contest, but after the contest it was apparent he had found a very undermarketed niche and decided to keep the blog after winning the contest. To double up this blog’s presence a radio station in Montreal did a short special on it as well. This site is all bout Frugal living. Their are some great tips and pointers for everyone not yet enjoying a 6-figure lifestyle and even a few tips for those joe’s to keep ahold of their amassed riches. Frugal Zeitgeist is the name of the blog and I really recommend checking it out as soon as possible.

Exciting times here at Big Ben Patton’s Place, I just wanted to stop the ride for a moment and let everyone know who is responsible for the awesome top notch graphic design and reccomend him to you all! I will post again shortly to continue this week’s theme of Blog monetization networks that I utilize.

I would be pleased to hear any critical thoughts over the changes and would interested in hearing about any tweaks to make things better. Do not hesitate to contact me directly or just post a comment in this post!

Thanks a million Ben, I always feel like blushing when I get such great feedback :)

It’s been a great project to work on.

As with most of my jobs I still don’t consider the job fully closed. Sit back let the site breath for a while and get some feedback…. then let me know if there are any small things to iron out :)

If anyone else is interested in some work you can email me direct forest.parks@gmail.com

Thanks Nick I’ve been working hard with Forest to get the site caught up to the same quality which the content has been hitting lately. Now it seems I’m on track for the next 6months.
