Yep, very important points. Also, try to use the same picture….I have seen much recognition because people know my picture. They may not even know much about me but they say “hey, that’s that guy imwithjoe.com…I know that avatar” I’ve had people find me on various networks that way.

They’ll say they saw my pic on such and so’s site, or another network, and wanted to add me. So, make sure you use the same pics or close to them, don’t have one real pic and another cartoon…it will confuse people and they will think it’s two different people.

I agree with the free giveways on social networks, really no need. But like you say, be yourself and all will work itself out.
