The Make Money Online Bubble And You

A couple of months ago their was a large outcry that the “MMO Bubble” had burst. In fact I think it is a little more complex that. It has been pointed out in many other blogs that what would appear as the bubble bursting was in fact the next generation of marketers and bloggers coming to maturity. Essentially what has been happening is that many people have stopped buying e books and stuff of that nature and starting writing their own so that they could start carving out their own table within the niche itself. Many have collapsed under the added pressure of the market change in the past months and as such the next generation of marketers have for now secured a presence in the industry.
Try not to ever confuse the Blogosphere for the Internet someone once said, and these are words to live by in this niche. It is apparent that the black hat methods are becoming harder and harder to execute for those willing to pay the price. That being said with the economic situation being as it is and gas rising closer and closer to $5 a gallon. Many people that would frivolously spend money on Internet Marketing How to’s are now keeping their cash stashed. This means the white hat methods are also becoming harder and harder to be profitable. That being said if you work hard you will make it through the slow times, and if your exceptional then you will infact be very profitable while the world sorts it self out. Their is plenty of money to be made the competition is just much stiffer and the odds much higher. Polish your products, sales pages and network even harder than before and you will be fine.
The bubble is relative to the person looking out from within it. If you want to be successful the bubble will always grow, if you are easily scared by market trends and rely on second hand information to succeed then in fact the bubble may have burst already for you.
My words of advice to everyone noob and pro alike is as follows:
Personality and Passion are your fuel. Content and aesthetics are your vehicle. Constant Vigilance your driver. With these and a little elbow grease for good measure you will realize your life’s goals.
This applies to internet marketing, blogging, and affiliate sales. Never show weakness, never back down and always be willing to adapt to the new market.
If you have any specific advice to share that you think would help some veterans in need or the newbie starting out I would love to hear how you stay the course.

I agree Ben…..I also see many marketers tell you not to focus on the IM/MMO niche…but, I think they just want to sell us their product and keep us from being their competition!
It’s all about moving with the flow of things, or even, staying ahead of the flow a little bit. I also think some are realizing that it takes work to make it with this thing….and some are not ready to put forth the commitment.
Those who are, will stay in for the long haul and will be that much more stable in the end. Business is the same no matter what, supply and demand, abundance and drought.
The smart marketer can survive in both, what will set one apart now is being a business savvy marketer that is also honest. There will always be folks that try to sell shoes to snakes so to speak, but, if you really want to have a long lasting impact on people and this industry, integrity and honesty is the way to do it.
Mix that with some elbow grease, a few red bulls, and a few hours of that good old midnight oil, or……daylight oil whichever you prefer….and you have your self a pretty solid blueprint for success.

Agreed…. people often neglect the hard work bit!!
People haven’t stopped buying eBooks they just don’t buy from clickbank. I know for a fact that millions of ebooks in the MMO niche are being sold monthly. The place they are buying from is online market places like The Warrior forum and Digital point and so on.
If they aren’t buying from there, they are buying through lists they are signed up to or are going to the bigger blogs and buying from people like Shoe Money, John Chow and the list of names continues.
There is A LOT of money in the MMO niche, you just have to have the right product. Forget the competition and go for your goals, do whatever it takes to make it happen.
