Another exciting week at here at Big Ben Patton’s Place. Just one more day to get in on your share of the Contest Extravaganza. We have a lot of contestants looking to win some very nice prizes. I am looking forward to awarding these live via a meebo chat room starting on May 31st. Good luck to everyone and thank you for participating. I really look forward to the upcoming month as I have some very exciting content planned. Also I am still waiting for my first real product to come in from its manufacturer to share with you all in a very wonderful video blog post which will also double as a product review. I can not release the details at this moment as it will just kill the surprise.

I hope my posts are helping everyone become a better blogger, and earn more from the web at large. I would love to get some suggestions about upcoming content as I really enjoy writing content that people want to read.

I have decided that my ebook which I was going to launch as my first pay to own product will in fact be free to everyone who will sign up for my newsletter. I have added the appropriate link in the nav bar above so make sure you stop by and get your copy.

Instead of just covering blogging I have decided my ebook will be much more extensive. The working title at this point will be Big Ben Patton’s Guide To Making Money Online. I am writing this for newbies and vets alike in a language that makes it 100% idiot proof with links for the pro’s to skip the sections they already know about. I plan for this to be a large product launch and I am at this point decided it will be a click bank item to add to its legitimacy for those that do not frequent this blog or do not know me otherwise. Keep an eye out for updates on this in the near future.

Another week has gone by and that makes it one more week closer to Affiliate Summit East. I am really looking forward to attending this years East convention and most of all I really look forward to sharing the entire experience with you.

I contacted a few of the A listers in hopes of obtaining a interview with them and so far Darren Rowse of Problogger.com has been the only one to step up. I have the opportunity to ask Darren any 3 questions I want. Normally this would not be such a difficult task, but as Darren is one of the most interviewed bloggers around I want to ask questions that my readers want to know. So here is my proposal to you.

As a side note I have decided to move from my current host to a hostgator account. I feel that this is one of the best things that I can do considering the results demonstrated from many of the blogs that I network with. Not only is this going to be a cost effective solution but also be a much better hosting solution for what direction I want to take this blog. I doubt that anyone will even notice when the switch happens as Ive already setup the blog fully upgraded, etc on the new host and when the name servers resolve that will be all she wrote. I have decided to use caching on the new site, and to help some of my readers out that do not have super fast broad band I will be adjusting the file sizes of the images on my site to help load times out as well. Let me know if you encounter any problems, or have any suggestions about any of this. I want this to be a very smooth running blog which does not drag along like many that I visit.
