The First Round up
Alright it has been a very exciting week here. We got the privilege to review some very outstanding products; as well as, watch the Microsoft / Yahoo debacle unfold. Our contest extravaganza is rolling out full steam right now. I would like to remind everyone to promote this as much as you can on your own blogs and to your friends. We also moved servers this week, and while we did see some extended downtime I am happy to say we are set to rock out now. Along with a new server I also installed OIO Publisher which has revolutionized the way that I sell advertising here on Big Ben Patton’s Place. To go with this I have recently completely redone the advertising page with all the correct corresponding information. I would suggest getting your bid for ads in soon as we have already cleared all of last months traffic numbers which will effect future advertising pricing. I am offering a first time adverters deal this month were you can buy 468×80 banner, 1 text link, and 1 125×125 ad spot in my sidebar for $25. The site is finally completed design and graphics wise. I would like to think that it is looking very good now. If you see anything not functioning properly or something that just really hurts your eyes let me know.

Other Noteworthy news:
I have removed the podcasts from earlier posts in case your wondering where they might have gone to. Due to the lack of positive response I will not be pursuing this in the near future. I do still have plans for a once a week video blog. This may turn into a live video session on the weekend where you the reader can improvise questions to me via a live chat and I will do my best to get everyone sorted out and on the right path.
I am hoping that this last weeks worth of content and changes is for the positive. If you think I should be addressing other topics and elaborating on others please speak up and let me know. One of the main things I hope to accomplish through this blog is helping people of all different back grounds and skill sets succeed without having to take the long and hard road to success.
I have been busy writing guest posts this week as well. You can find one of them on TheUniversityKid.com where I covered “Effective Blogging And You” This really is a must read for everyone. I was also invited to guest post over at MoneyBites.com This is slated for publishing this weekend. The article is an in depth approach to “Blogging 101″ Their are some advanced topics included within this post to keep even the best vets working harder at their trade. Just in case you missed it I published a special five part series on “Traffic Generation” over at ThatBlogsite.com I also decided to take advantage of an invite to post over at the EcoInsomniac.com I believe this is also slated for publishing this weekend.
